The Down Syndrome Association of Houston proudly supports
a Community group in Katy. The community groups are
for the residents that cannot attend all of the events
in Houston but would still like to have a support group
in their town. The community groups meet once a month
to meet other parents and to socialize.
Interested in forming a community group in your
area? Please contact JJ Ladner for guidelines and
information at communityoutreach@dsah.org.
The community group must have a minimum of 10 families
as a basic support system for the community group to
exist.

The Katy Community group meets once a month for Coffee
and conversation on the FIRST Tuesday of the month at
The Bagels Cafe. Moms, parents and friends get together
to share their experiences and thoughts on Down syndrome.

Side Community Group
The North side of Houston can now meet in a local area
where parents can socialize and children can play. Welcome
members of the North Side Community Group.
This group meets at the Moody Park and Recreation Center
in Moody Park 3725 Fulton St Houston TX 77009.
